Description: Afro-Cuban Rumba lessons taught by veteran dance instructor Erick Barberia at The Beat in Berkeley, every Tuesday night and Saturday morning. The class explores the the roots of Afro-Cuban dance from Cuban Son, Rumba, and it's heavy African influences all the way to present day Timba, pushing you to improve your body movement and expression.
Cost: $10 ($7 student, $15 band nights)

Description: A cool bar & lounge located in Mountain View with a great instructor and chill atmosphere. Plenty of seating, a full bar, and live bands of Friday nights. Music is a mix of salsa and bachata, with a sprinkling of cha cha and merrengue.
Cost: $13 drop-in, $60 for 5-class punch card
Description: A Salsa On2 class on Afro Carribean body movement, footwork, and partnering taught by Sandy Chao & John York of Mambo Groovin at the Just B Dance Studio in San Jose every Tuesday.
Cost: Free for first hour, $10 for second
Location: Pacific Grove
Description: On2 salsa (mambo) lessons every Tuesday at the Pacific Grove Art Center. First hour of the class covering On2 basics and timing is free, and it's $10 if you want to stay for the partnering and combos.
Cost: $14 for one class ($1 cash discount)

Description: New York style mambo classes taught at the esteemed Oberlin Dance Collective School of Rhythm and Motion.
Cost: $15 drop-in
Description: Salsa Bootcamp Tuesdays at Top Dance Ballroom, 8pm. Fun and productive lessons covering essential footwork and patterns to get you dancing right away. These include right and left turns, cross body leads, open and closed dance frames and stylish body and footwork. No partner needed as we rotate often in class! $15 drop-in per person.

Location: Santa Cruz
Description: Cuban-style salsa classes for all levels in downtown Santa Cruz every Tuesday night taught by Salsa Gente. Class covers isolation body moves and partner moves. This is not a Rueda class. All salsa dancers welcome (linear and Casino), no partner necessary.

Description: An hour long salsa lesson during lunch time at Studio 1924 in Oakland. Taught by experienced salsa dancer and Tango champion Nicholas Tapia, the class is aimed at intermediate and beginner dancers, and includes a complimentary lunch.
Description: Salsa lessons and dancing every Tuesday at the Raizes Do Brasil Capoeira in Santa Cruz. Plenty of space on the large wood for dancing, all ages welcome, no partner necessary.
Cost: $12 per class
Description: Salsa lessons every Tuesday night at the YWCA in Berkeley taught by veteran salsa instructors Ava Apple and Rodolfo Guzman. Beginning salsa lessons at 7pm and intermediate patterns at 8pm. Partner not required.
