Description: A cool bar & lounge located in Mountain View with a great instructor and chill atmosphere. Plenty of seating, a full bar, and live bands of Friday nights. Music is a mix of salsa and bachata, with a sprinkling of cha cha and merrengue.
Cost: $8 Members, $12 Non-Members
Description: Thursday night salsa lessons with veteran salsa instructor Garry at the Allegro Ballroom in Emeryville. Focuses on intermediate patterns and partnering. Extra practice time is available after the lesson for an additional $5.
Description: Salsa lessons with Hector and Jherrica, followed by a night of music and dancing at Blue Fin Billiards in Monterey Bay.

Description: Cafe Cocomo is a popular spot in San Francisco featuring a huge dance floor, live bands, full bar, and salsa lessons taught by Jake Jacobs.

Description: Salsa lessons and dancing every Thursday night at Ballroom & Beyond dance studio in Hayward. Salsa lessons with Antonio Miguel from 7-9pm, followed by social dancing until 1am in the morning. No partner necessary and all ages welcome. $2 off with student ID.

Description: Cabritos Mexican Bistro has great food and a full bar. It also has a large hardwood dance floor. Salseros and Salseras 21 and over are welcome to dance from 8pm-1am every First Thursday at Cabritos, 72 South First Street, San Jose. Best of all there is NO COVER!

Description: Salsa Rueda classes every Thursday night at the Louden Nelson Center in Santa Cruz. Two classes at the same time: into/beginner and beginner/intermediate. No partner required, and half off for students!

Description: Beginning and intermediate lessons held every Thursday at the Linden Street Dance Studio in Oakland using the Salsa With Juan methodology that emphasizes repetition and practice. Space available for practice afterwards ($5 drop-in, or free if you take the lesson).

Description: Dance lessons with Jose "JAS" Santamaria followed by dancing; live bands every last Thursday of the month and Salsa Y Sabor every 2nd Thursday with DJ Medina.
Description: Salsa dancing every Thursday night at Shadow Ultra Lounge (formerly Maxwell’s Lounge) in Oakland. Salsa dancing and music in a night club atmosphere. Food and drinks available all night. Private rooms available for birthdays etc.
