Live music & outdoor barbecue at a local waterfront spot, located in Mission Bay, one of the sunniest parts of San Francisco. During the cooler months there is a heated tent with dancing every Saturday, weather permitting.

This is not an all-ages place. Drove all the way there through crazy traffic before the tunnel and on the bridge, and the bouncer – not even looking at us in the eye – just motions for a card. When asked for explanation, he says “Yeah, after restaurant hours this place kind of becomes like a nightclub, with a cover charge and ID and everything.” This place closes at 8 pm. What kind of nightclub is that? Please advertise that you are 21+ only on your website, as well. Ridiculous.

Starting 1/20/2012 The Ramp has a new enclosed heated tent with dance floor every Saturday and live bands. Adds a new festive classy air to the place. Not many people know yet since The Ramp is known for being open seasonly, so spread the word!
