This is a fun little event in downtown San Jose. If you're looking to get your Sunday salsa fix in the South Bay, this is the spot to be.
The Bold Knight (located off of 1st street, near Japan Town) is a nice venue with a good floor, plenty of seating, and a full bar (always a plus). The event draws a good crowd of mostly beginners, with lessons in the afternoon, and dancing until the evening.
One thing to note is that the event begins at 4pm, and only goes until 10pm (edit: now open until 11:30pm). This is something that caught me off guard the first time I visited, and something you should keep in mind when planning your afternoon of dancing.
