San Francisco Salsa Congress 2012

Description: A four-day salsa extravaganza held in the Marriott Hotel in downtown Oakland. The Congress features four days of workshops, performances, competitions, live music, and more, with dancing until 4 in the morning every night. This year is the 11-year anniversary of the SF Salsa Congress, and the event will likely be the largest ever, with an expected attendance of more than 8,000 dancers from around the world. This year's congress features top musical talent, including the Grammy Award winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Jose Alberto "El Canario", and Johnny Polanco.
