Biography
Jesus Cruz is a salsa dancer, performer, and instructor who has a long background in dance, starting with several traditional folkloric dances which he learned in his home town of Chiapas, Mexico. He began dancing ballroom in 2004 under the direction World Class Competition Dancer Natasha Clarke.
Jesus began salsa in 2005, training with Salsa Olé dance company in Sonoma County, and has since performed and competed with other local Bay Area salsa teams including MamboNova and the Couture Dance Alliance, directed by World Champion Luis Aguilar.
Jesus teaches salsa lessons in the North Bay along with Irene Silva and started the Salsa Caoba Dance Company in 2007, which has performed around the Bay Area.

Jesus is such an amazing dancer and a wonderful instructor. Taking one of his classes was by far the best experience I’ve encountered. His amazing personality makes you feel right at home, and no worries if you don’t have a partner, he’ll dance with you!!!
