Albertos Salsa

Description: A cool bar & lounge located in Mountain View with a great instructor and chill atmosphere. Plenty of seating, a full bar, and live bands of Friday nights. Music is a mix of salsa and bachata, with a sprinkling of cha cha and merrengue.

Allegro Valentine’s Party

Event Type: Salsa, Bachata, & Kizomba Lessons, Dance Social
Cost: $10 or two for $15
Location: Emeryville
Description: A Valentine's Day social hosted by Garry & Isabelle at Allegro Ballroom in Emeryville. Beginning salsa, bachata, and kizomba workshops by top Bay Area instructors followed by a night of dancing. Three rooms for dancing and plenty of free parking. No partner or experience necessary.

Cost: $12 for one class, $45 for four classes

Description: Cuban salsa lessons held at the Malonga Casquelourd Center in Oakland throughout the week. Beginner classes cover the basic steps, with the intermediate and advanced classes focusing on improving your skills. $12 per class or $45 for four classes.

Description: Live music and dancing every Friday night at Space 550 in San Francisco. Doors open at 7:30pm followed by a beginner salsa and bachata lesson at 8pm. No experience or partner necessary. San Francisco Bachata Festival

Description: The San Francisco Bachata International Festival (SFBIF) is a 3-day long dance festival held every year in the San Francisco Bay Area. The event is held at the gorgeous Hyatt Regency hotel in Burlingame and features a weekend of dance lessons, performances, and competitions. The San Francisco Bachata Festival features dozens of professional instructors from around the world teach bachata, kizomba, salsa and more. Workshops start at 10am every morning with top instructors from around the world and dancing continues until 6am every night. If you love bachata, kizomba, and salsa, this is one Festival you don’t want to miss!
